Vicky has been developing and giving Tech-Training programs for the Interiorscape industry and private companies for over 40 years.

Vicky Cate founded Evergreen Interiors in June of 1979 to serve the Interiorscape needs of San Diego clients. In 2019 she sold her company and retired to continue consulting on operations and technical training. She does route tech training and tech skill building as well as company operations training. She was a founding member of several Interiorscape associations over the years. She invented the Plants Paws cleaning mitts and Drip Catchers. Products that make it easier for plant care specialists to do a professional job quickly. She was inducted into the Plantscape Industry Hall of Fame in 2008 for her years of volunteer education development for the industry. She was given the John Mini Leadership Excellence award from the National Interiorscape Network in 2017 for her contributions to the ongoing education and technical training for Interiorscape companies in the network. She developed training videos, with exams to help companies within the National Interiorscape Network teach the skills and competencies needed to be top tier plant care specialists.
