What is the TPIE Opening Session?
TPIE’s Opening Session has a record of stirring inspiration ahead of the show floor opening. The 2026 show’s Opening Session is titled Cultivating Connection by Watering Our Weirdness: Discovering What Truly Connects People & Products and will be presented by fashion psychologist and lifestyle futurist, Jill Hawkins. She’s driven to help businesses and individuals design and live healthier, more creative and human-kind futures. Admission is complimentary with a TPIE show badge. What, when, and where is the TPIE Welcome Orientation held?
Wednesday, January 21, 8–8:30 a.m. in Room 207. Complimentary coffee will be available. TPIE’s Welcome Orientation is the perfect opportunity to learn about the show, discover the various programs, and meet industry volunteer leaders who will answer your TPIE questions.
Where is the TPIE Happy Hour?
The TPIE Happy Hour will be held on opening day, January 21, from 5 – 6 p.m. in the outdoor plaza of the Broward County Convention Center. This event is open to everyone with a show badge and made possible through the generous sponsorship of Sun Parasol Flowers. If there is inclement weather, it will be alternatively held in the Floridian Ballroom on the 3rd level.
What is the Certification Showcase?
FNGLA Certified Professionals have a dedicated exhibit space in at FNGLA's Booth #1945 where they can ask about CEUs, meet FNGLA's Certification Team and find out all that is happening in the world of certification and continuing education. Certified Professionals can earn additional CEUs through a variety of activities including Plant ID and the new Certification Challenge at Booth #1945.
How do I get FNGLA CEUs for attending the show?
FNGLA Certified Professionals earn two (02) CEUs for attending the show, one (01) CEU for attending Opening Session, and one (01) CEU for each education event attended. Additional CEUs are available for participation in tours and workshops. Please visit the Certification Showcase at FNGLA’s booth #1945 to log your TPIE CEUs.
Where are the new plants and products?
A showcase of new plants and products, the Exhibitor Trending Plants and Products Showcase, is located next to the Create Theater on the show floor. Buyers can vote for their favorite new products and plants no later than 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 21 at the Exhibitor Showcase.
What are the TPIE Cool Product Awards?
The TPIE Cool Products Awards are exhibitor plants and products which buyers attending the show determine are the top Coolest Products in the show. There are 15 awards presented. Danny Summers with The Garden Center Group manages this awards program. Meet Danny at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 21, outside the Palm Room immediately following the TPIE Opening Session to take part in making selections.The TPIE Cool Products Awards will be presented at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 22 at the TPIE Create Theater.

TPIE Booth Awards presentation takes place at 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 21 at the Create Theater. Winners will also be posted on signage in the main lobby.

All exhibitors, including those who registered after the November 1, 2025, deadline, are featured in the TPIE Online Show Directory to ensure full visibility for attendees. If you registered after the deadline, your listing may not appear in the printed show directory.

Is there a room for nursing mothers?
Yes. The room for nursing mothers is located in the box office on the south side of Lobby A. A sign will be on the door and a key will be available at the Convention Center Guest Services desk.
I bought a booth. How do I pick it up at the end of the show?
Go to Expo Convention Contractors service center desk, located in the back left corner of the exhibit hall in aisle #2200.
What are the dates for next year’s show?
The show will be Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, January 20–22, 2027, at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
I’m interested in exhibiting next year. Can I get a complimentary badge to see the show?
There are no complimentary badges available to preview TPIE. If you would like to preview TPIE, please contact FNGLA's Billy Deal (bdeal@fngla.org) to set an appointment to tour the show based on his availability.
Do I have to pay for my child to attend?
If a child or an infant is in a stroller, where he/she cannot become unattached from their parents, a badge is not required. Otherwise, all attendees are required to have a show badge. The price for children 12 and under is $40. As an industry-focused event, TPIE is designed for professionals.
Where can I get lunch?
Concessions are in the lobby area and on the show floor.
Are there shuttle buses to the hotels?
There is no dedicated shuttle service for TPIE. Please check with your hotel concierge for alternate transport options to and from the Broward County Convention Center.
What about parking?
Paid garage parking is available in the Broward County Convention Center concourse. The garage is located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316, and is connected to the center via a covered, air-conditioned skywalk on the 2nd level.
Can I buy plants at the show?
In general, the plants are not for sale, they are for display only. However, some exhibitors sell the items in their booths which buyers can take ONLY at the end of the show (2 p.m.) on Friday, January 23. The buyer must have a receipt for these items. This is available in the show office or Expo Service Desk.
Is Wi-Fi available at the Broward County Convention Center?
Wi-Fi is available in the public lobby areas of the convention center. Internet service can be purchased by opening a browser and ordering through the Convention Center Service Center.
Where can I see photos or video from the show?
Professionals will be filming the show Wednesday and Thursday. Photos and video will be accessible via FNGLA's social media pages.

Student Groups
Pre-registered students can pick up their badges at the Registration desk. For students who didn’t preregister as a group, the regular on-site badge rate of $40 will apply. Where can I get tables, chairs, signs, carpet, etc. for my booth?
Expo Convention Contractors provides all the equipment for booths. Expo Convention Contractors Service Center is located in the back-left corner of the exhibit hall at the back of the 2200 aisle.
How do I find the Marshaling Yard?
To keep move out as orderly and efficient as possible all delivery vehicles must report to a truck marshaling area to receive a dock pass. All trucks will have to go through the port security check points. The checkpoint off I-595 is open 24 hours. The other checkpoints are open from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. Drivers must have a valid ID and no weapons when going through the check point. Trucks will be called up as space is available on the docks. Marshaling Yard Maps and Instructions can be found on the www.tpie.org website under the Exhibitor Menu and Move In/Out Schedule & Information page.
