Brad Miller launched Interior Plant Scapes (IPSplants.com) in 1983 with a Honda Civic and a single $40-a-month client. Like many early pioneers in the plantscape industry, he started with a deep love of potted plants—and very little understanding of what it actually takes to build a business. That changed in the early ’90s when Brad joined the E-Myth Academy, the original coaching company that taught entrepreneurs how to “work on their business, not just in it.” There, he discovered a transformative truth: “The system is the solution.” And not just for plant care—for every function of a thriving business. A self-described systems nerd, Brad went on to author Victory Goes to the Business with Superior Systems, a book that captures the principles that helped him grow Interior Plant Scapes into one of Southwest Florida’s most respected firms. Brad has shared his expertise on countless stages as a conference speaker and columnist for three industry magazines. Now, through his second company, Miller Marketing and Training, he’s channeling four decades of entrepreneurial lessons into his latest venture—Plantscape Business School: a first-of-its-kind training and growth platform helping plantscape business owners scale smarter, systemize operations, and create companies that thrive without them. Through his speaking, workshops, and strategic programs, Brad equips owners to turn their passion for plants into sustainable, profitable enterprises. Married to his high-school sweetheart Crystal for 43 years, Brad splits his time between Southwest Florida and Boone, North Carolina, where they enjoy the mountains and time with their daughter Chelsea, her husband, and their two grandchildren.
