Overview

CosMic Plants is Canada's largest Phalaenopsis Orchid producer. Unlike many other Orchid growers, CosMic Plants controls the full growth cycle from a tissue culture young-plant to a quality blooming plant, at its high tech greenhouse facilities in Niagara - Ontario. We are proud of our sustainable and responsible business practices. We supply floral wholesalers, floral retailers, garden centers and high end retail chain stores - with a high service level.     At CosMic Pants we are MPS certified and grow our Orchids from start to finish in our own greenhouses located in Souther Ontario - Canada. Growing them from start to finishe means that we control the complete growth cycle from a clean sterile tissue culture cutting to a blooming plant. This way we can control pest and diseases 100% biologically; we reduce shipping cost because we don't import half-grown plants from overseas and we don't have to fumigate or spray fungicides when we receive our young plants. We also grow in bark which is a by-product from the local lumber industry, as opposed to sphagnum moss which is becoming scarce and is only available from Chili, China and New Zealand.
