The show badge allows entrance into the show on all three days of the show.

The new and improved Booth Awards will be handed out Wednesday afternoon using brand new criteria, selected by a panel of jurists. The show takes place at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19 at the TPIE Create Theatre on the trade show gloow. Winners will be posted on signage in the main lobby.

While some exhibitors have drawings for prizes, there are no show prizes.

However, there is a $1,000 raffle available to bid on to benefit the National Horticulture Foundation (NHF). You can purchase raffle tickets for $5/each or 5 tickets for $20.  

Tickets can be purchased at the FNGLA Show Office, Room 18, or the NHF/FNGLA booth in the lobby. The drawing will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 21 at the TPIE Create Theatre.

First Aid is located is located by Freight Door #1 in the East Hall of the convention center.

The TPIE Cool Products Awards are selected Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 19 by show attendees, and is organized by The Garden Center Group.

Exhibitors with winning products are invited to share more about their product at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20 at the TPIE Create Theater, located in the far right section of the tradeshow floor.

The Tampa Convention Center does not have wheelchairs or scooters available.

FNGLA Certified Professionals earn 2 CEUs for attending the show. 

Attendees should go to the Certification Showcase at the FNGLA Lobby Booth to sign up for their CEUs.

Attendees of the Opening Session and the TPIE Create Theatre classes also register at the Certification Showcase to earn 1 CEU for each event attended. CEUs will also be available for the tours and workshops.

FNGLA Certified Professionals have their own personalized space in conjunction with FNGLA's Lobby Booth.  Ask about CEUs, meet FNGLA's Certification Team and find out all that is happening in the world of certification and continuing education.  Certified Professionals can earn additional CEUs through a variety of activities including Plant ID and the new Certification Challenge.

January 18-20, 2023.  The show dates will once again be a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday format. It will be held at the Tampa Bay Convention Center.

Visit Tampa offers concierge service to help with all types of local requests, including restaurant recommendations, and is located at the circular display on the Registration Mezzanine Level.  

The TPIE Happy Hour will be held outside the Tampa Convention Center at the Sail Plaza

Held on opening day, Jan. 19, TPIE Happy Hour will be held after the trade show from 5 – 6 pm. Move from the exhibit hall to outside to the sail plaza and continue interacting with customers and colleagues.

This event is open to everyone with a show badge.

Take advantage of this hour to network with attendees and exhibitors while enjoying a beverage.

If a child or an infant or in a stroller, where he/she can not become unattached from their parents, a badge is not required. Otherwise, children must be badged so they can be identified should they become separated from their parents. 

The price for children 12 and under is $30.  As TPIE is a business environment, we don’t encourage children at the show.

Coffee can be purchased at concession stands located in the front of the building.

In general, the plants are not for sale, they are for display only.  However, some exhibitors sell the items in their booths which buyers can take ONLY at the end of the show (2 pm) on Friday. 

The buyer must have a receipt for these items. If a buyer needs a receipt, please direct them to The Expo Group Service Desk located at the back left corner of the tradeshow floor.

All meeting locations, dates and times are listed in the Show Directory. If not listed in the directory, please guide the attendee to the FNGLA Show Office, Room 18, for last-minute scheduled meetings. Direct attendees to also check out meeting times on our website.

Complimentary wi-fi is available at Datz in the Rotunda and at The Sail/Big Rays Restaurant outside.  A password is not required.

All students who pre-registered for the event must pick up their badges at Registration, just like any other attendee. Any student who did not pre-register as a group at the $5 rate will be charged the regular show badge rate of $30 onsite.

A business center is located in front of the West Hall of the show floor. The business center hours should be the same as trade show hours.

We do not provide a business center and/or complimentary Wi-Fi.  Guests may enjoy complimentary wi-fi at The Sail and in the Rotunda.
