COVID-19 Update:

The Tampa Convention Center (TCC) has received its Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ accreditation on outbreak prevention, response and recovery.

NOTE: Anyone attending TPIE is encouraged to follow the current guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as it relates to COVID-19 protocols.

To reduce the risk of being infected with or spreading Covid-19 or a variant, The City of Tampa and Tampa Convention Center are taking precautions as we respond to the latest surge in COVID. TCC will have masks available at our front doors for those not in possession of one, signage placed throughout the facility that will remind guests to wear masks in common areas.

The Tampa Convention Center is recommending yet not requiring persons to wear masks within the facility.  All TCC staff and partners will continue to wear masks. 

The city will continue to monitor public health data provided by the Florida Department of Health and CDC and will update these protocols as necessary to be consistent with government standards and guidance as they develop.

Social distancing during the show is encouraged. Please note that safety measures will be updated, if needed, based on ongoing CDC recommendations and the local government, state and federal mandates.

By attending TPIE and its related programs, you acknowledge and fully understand the nature and extent of the risk related to the COVID-19 virus and other contagious diseases and agree to attend this event at your own risk. You expressly acknowledge that COVID-19 is highly contagious and there are no safety precautions which totally eliminate the risk of contracting COVID-19.
